Class Dojo

 Dear Families,

I’m sure you have probably heard from your child about Dojos!  Class Dojo is a website that allows teachers to give students immediate feedback on their behaviour–positive and negative. Students get very excited when they are awarded points, and I find it’s a great way to keep everyone on task! They are also very excited about the monster which represents them.  This monster can be changed when you log on.

A great feature of the website is that it tracks the students’ behaviour over time and creates reports that can be printed or emailed. I have sent home the letter for you to access a weekly report of your child’s behaviour.  It can be sent to you via email or you can log on and view their profile when ever you like. Class Dojo is confidential and you can not view any other child’s profile.

I encourage you to try logging in to Class Dojo and gaining insight into how your child is doing in our classroom behaviourally. I know you will be proud to see the great behaviours they are displaying, and in turn, if there is something they need to work on, you will be able to see that as well.

The website to log on is http://www.classdojo.com/

Then click on login and select parents.  Each student was sent home a unique user name and password.  If you have misplaced yours please let me know and I will give you another copy.

If you would like assistance accessing Class Dojo or having any questions please contact me.

 Thank you,

Miss Richards
